Profile of Memphis Attorney Sarah Turner:

Sarah Turner was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Criminology and Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and graduated with honors. She attended law school at the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis.

While attending Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, Ms. Turner worked as a Guardian ad Litem for the Memphis and Shelby County Juvenile Court. As such, she argued two dependency and neglect cases, one of which was appealed twice. Ms. Turner argued this case from its inception through both appeals processes and was successful at every level. Ms. Turner was also an extern with the District Attorney's Office where, in addition to other assignments, she also tried felony preliminary hearings.

Ms. Turner joined the Hoffman Law and Mediation Office in 2011. Her main areas of practice include Family and Domestic Relations Law, as well as Juvenile Law. She is a strong advocate for Mediation and Collaborative Law efforts, as they are the only true ways clients retain control of the resolution of their Family or Juvenile Law matter. In addition to her law practice, Ms. Turner also continues work as a Guardian ad Litem for the Memphis and Shelby County Juvenile Court.

Ms. Turner is a member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, as well as the Memphis Bar Association Young Lawyers and Family Law Division.

One way she stays involved with her community is by volunteering to coach a local high school Mock Trial team.

Ms. Turner is a local artist and runner. In her spare time she competes in various races and travels to several art festivals and art guilds.
